What does the Holy Spirit convicts you of?

John 16:8-11

New King James Version (NKJV)

And when He has come, He will convict the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:
of sin, because they do not believe in Me;
10 of righteousness, because I go to My Father and you see Me no more;
11 of judgment, because the ruler of this world is judged.

I was just reading these verses on my free time and notice something interesting.

Holy Spirit will convicts the world of sin not because they sinned but because they don't believe in Christ.  Because of the unbelief in Christ we are doomed with the devil himself who is also the ruler of the world.

Once you believe in Christ, Holy Spirit convicts you of righteousness in Christ.  So really, the Holy Spirit will not tell you what's wrong with you or your mistakes, He reminds you that you are righteous because of His death on the Cross. and that makes us the believers eternally righteous!

The Holy Spirit judges the Devil, not us because we are covered by the Robe of His righteousness.  Just like the Prodigal Son.  The Father sees the lost son (us) and He ran to us and put on the Robe, ring, scandals and killed the fatted calf for us.  Did He condemned us, big time NO!  His heart is not in judgement but in mercy (Psalm 103:8-9)

God is Love, not judgement (1John  4:7-8).  He already exhausted His anger and judgement in the Body of Christ and Christ became Sin for us so that we may become the Righteousness through Christ (Romans 5:12-21).  God will not impute sins in us because of what Christ have done for us (Romans 4:8).  We boast in the Finished works of Christ.(Gal 6:14).
